Newborns are by far my favorite subjects. Contentment, security and love are the most important things on a tiny mind and capturing this inner essence is crucial to achieving the perfect newborn photographs. My studio has been created to provide a secure and comfortable environment for your newborn to allow these unique moments to flourish from the moment photographing starts.

The ideal time to photograph your baby is within three weeks of birth with ten days old being ideal. At this age your baby is still very sleepy and flexible and this allows me to safely and comfortably pose your baby in the beautiful, dreamy poses that are so popular. Newborn babies sleep deeper in the morning so our sessions start at 10am.
The best time to book a session is as soon as you know your due date. I will book a provisional date in the diary and amend that when you arrive at home with your new baby. Babies can obviously arrive early or late so I allow space in the diary to accommodate this. I will only book three newborn sessions in a week (one session a day) so be sure to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. My diary usually fills up at least 4 weeks in advance but I do have late availability from time to time.
If you know that you are having a little boy and planning a circumcision please let me know as it is best to schedule your session for before, or at least five days after the circumcision.
